Pre-School Programme for 4 year olds

Little Wakas, our Transition to School Pre-School Programme for 4 year olds.

As part of our transition to school process we operate a pre-school programme called Little Wakas. It is held on Wednesday afternoons from 1.30-2.45pm for 4 sessions.

Little Wakas is designed to assist children in making a positive transition into the school environment through:

  • Building positive relationships within the school

  • Developing beginning school literacy and numeracy skills

  • Becoming familiar with the school environment and routines

Although the programme is not compulsory we do encourage parents to enrol their child. 

Enrolment in  Little Wakas is via the Kindo platform. The cost of the 4 sessions is $20 (to cover the cost of consumables and stationery items).

Please note that a parent/caregiver is required to stay at school during the Little Wakas sessions.
